How to prepare for JEE Mains along with Boards?
Most of the JEE Aspirants are having their Board Exams in this month and therefore I decided to write a blog post to help them prepare for JEE Mains alongside their Board Exams.
The good news for such students is that Board marks won't be included in the JEE Mains Rank this year.
First of all, if you are very much inclined towards your Boards and want to focus more on Boards right now, you should not take up anything new right now. The perfect thing to do right now is to keep your concepts brushed up. You should try to practice around 10-15 random question of JEE every day during your Boards. Just take up any JEE Mains question Bank, and start practicing random questions. If stuck somewhere, try to revise and learn that concept if possible.
For all those who are ready to give extra time and focus to JEE Mains preparation can do the following things. Try to take out time and practice 1 previous year or JEE Mains Mock paper every alternate day. On the other days, you can take up any new concept or chapter and try to study and practice question from that part. You can also follow any other pattern if you want to.
If you can't give 3 hours daily for a paper, you can try to practice at least 1 section for 1 hour daily.
Try to read and practice the parts/section which your are not able to solve and perfect them.
Now, one of the most important part for JEE Mains is the temperament of the paper. You should be having a habit of sitting at a single place for 3 hours and solving questions under pressure.
This is very important. I also suffered a bit during my JEE Mains paper, because of my lack of practice of solving a JEE paper.
Best of Luck for your Boards!!
:D
